About Our HIU Engineers London
HIU Service is a commercial heat interface unit and communal heating service for London and the South East, working for managing agents, housing providers, heat network operators and contractors.
Commercial rate: £75+VAT per half hour, minimum 1-hour charge
What we do
We focus on the part of a heat network that residents actually feel: the heat interface unit in each flat and the hydraulics that feed it. That focus means faster diagnosis, clearer reports and fewer repeat visits.
Our engineers work on plate heat exchangers, PICVs, actuators, controls, secondary circuits and the risers and laterals that connect flats to the plant room.
How we work
Every visit ends with a written record of what we found and did. Parts and replacement units are quoted before work goes ahead, and labour is charged at a published rate.
Common Questions
Who are your typical clients?
Managing agents, residents’ management companies, housing associations, build-to-rent operators, heat network operators and main contractors.
Do you only work on HIUs?
Our focus is heat interface units and the communal or district heating that serves them, including secondary circuits and thermal stores within the building.
